Abstract: The rapidly development of evolving technology is one of the main factors of developed a
computer-based information systems. To facilitate the financial management in local government orga- nization, then developed applications Financial Management Information System or SIMDA. SIMDA been applied by the Nganjuk’s Department of Health since 2007 as the financial Management informa- tion systems and financial reporting information system. In 2011 the Nganjuk’s Department of Health defined as the second priority in the Local Government Nganjuk’s budgeting, so the SIMDA of Health Department will be assisted in managing and administering financial data with a fairly large amount.
This research was conducted to describe the application and internal control are applied in the man-
agement of financial data through SIMDA, and to analyze the quality of information generated by
SIMDA. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The type of data used are primary data and
secondary data. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation.
Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive analysis and using variables relevant, accurate
and timeless to analyze the quality of information generated by SIMDA.
