ABSTRACT
Different technologies in cultivation of Agaricus bisporus have impact to utilizing
production factor and cost incurred. So that the farmer should control utilizing input were
both in quantity and cost to produce output. Allocation input to produce output associated
with level of efficient achieved by farmers well technically and economically efficient. This
research was aim to analyze: 1) The factors that affect the quantity of production, 2) Level of
technical efficiency, 3) The factorsof cost that affect total production costs, and 4) Level of
economic efficiency in the cultivation of Agaricus bisporus. The study was conducted in five
villages in Ngadirejo, Wonokerto, Ngadas, Jetak, and Ngadisari. Census method used to
establish the respondent. In this study using three stages of data analysis is the specification
models using Stochastic Frontier Cobb Douglas, the estimated production function and cost
function Cobb Douglas Stochastic Frontier and calculates the technical and economic
efficiency. The results showed Agaricus bisporus cultivation reached high technically and
economically efficient. Log media, labor, and water is a production factor that affect the
production of Agaricus bisporus. While the cost of logs media and labor costs affect the total
costs incurred by farmers.
