ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in
preschoolers, including the quantity range of vocabulary, word class, and scope
of vocabulary. The method used is qualitative descriptive research methods. The
results of this study include the quantity of various Indonesian vocabulary in
every child is different from one another, the word class of nouns is the most
widely mastered by subsidiary, and scope of the vocabulary of children mostly
are still at the level of objects, events, circumstances, and other things that are
concrete.
